Microneedling, which is also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a treatment where controlled and precise micro-injuries are made to the skin resulting in new collagen and elastin. Microneedling treats fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, texture, tone, color, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, and overall skin rejuvenation. Microneedling creates micro-channels which allow topical gels, creams or PRP (platelet-rich-plasma) to be absorbed more effectively, multiplying collagen production!
